She is from a quintessentially East Coast family, and Anna always knew she’d love to get married at her family’s property in Charlottesville. Miles is from the farthest opposite spot in the 50 states, toes deep in the warm waters of Hawaii and barefoot living. Quite clearly, Anna and Miles’ roots are wildly and beautifully different colors. The most awesome part of it is that – where some may face inward from opposite sides of a color wheel – Miles and Anna are interior shades of the color spectrum that connect the extremes. This is apparent to everyone that knows them, both as individuals and now as a team. They are both the fringe of their inherited nature, blending perfectly in the middle. Even the weather on their all-too-typically hot East Coast wedding day seemed to know the name of the game. The tiniest little sprinkle of rain came once, just for a moment during the ceremony. Almost light enough that you weren’t sure if you felt it, it graced their Virginia wedding with a very perfectly Hawaiian blessing. And – unlike us Mainlanders – no, Hawaiians are not the ones to say that just to make you feel better.
Anna and Miles, your bliss-filled celebration is a testament to you both as a couple. Not the heat, nor the rain, could stop your wedding from being one of the most fun loving events all those present will always remember. It was such an honor to be a part of this next step in your journey together. Love you both!
